acheté en double pour en faire un grand switch de 16 ports et donc relier les 2 x 10Gb SFP+ par un câble SFP+: ce fonctionne nickel et surtout sans chauffer
il me reste 4 RJ45 à finir de brancher !
en dessous, c’est l’ancien TP-Link TL-SG1016 qui commençait à fatiguer, après 15 ans de bon et loyaux services …

Excellent 2,5G switch. Highly recommended.
Cat5e cables should be enough to handle 2,5G with short distances but I have already upgraded all my cables to be Cat7 so I can clarify only that it works with them. And of course end devices need to have 2,5G NICs, this is something that people many times seem to forget.
Power consumpiton under heavy load is around 7W and network is not slowed down with this switch even if I have another switch right before this one. The case is solid metal and heat dissipation is good. It gets warm but not hot. Could be safely mounted on a wall I guess.
10G SFP+ port comes witth a plug and I have not been able to test it. It is an uplink port so probably could be connected to a 10g switch.
Only little minus is that the power cord is installed on the other side of the switch so this makes mounting more difficult since cables are going both directions. So I guess I will mount this vertical instead on keeping it on shelf as it is right now.

Впечатляющий свич. Выглядит он весьма просто, но по характеристика и что самое главное – стоимости, он ощутимо лучше конкурентов по ценовой нише. Не знаю кому надо такой свич, ведь интернет 2.5 Gbps появится в наших домах не скоро, если вообще появится на протяжении нашей жизни в целом… Надеяться на скоростной интернет от провайдера думаю не стоит, главным толковым применением такого свича будет локальная сеть для передачи больших файлов внутри одной сети. Здесь такой свич проявит себя сполна. В остальном если вы не используете NAS хранилища, локальную сеть из нескольких ПК и прочие специфические сценарии использования интернета то вам такой свич будет избыточный. И единственное что вы получите это чуток меньший жор электричества, хорошую сборку, корпус из стали и возможность иметь более мощную входную линию. И как бы всё. Доставка была нормальной, всего 12 дней на МистЕкспресс. Спасибо за товар
