Works wonders! Now I can unblock the PS2’s full potential! Note that this adapter only outputs native 480p/576i signal (or 240p for games, I guess) into HDMI. For upscaling you either use homebrew software or just buy another option (the latter also way, way more expensive). For just a couple of euros, this does a nice job adapting PS2 to the HD world, being similar to a component output. Don’t forget to change component output to YPbPr in the console settings for this adapter to work. Another thing, I’m playing in a PS2 Slim (90xxxx series) and I don’t need the USB cable to power the adapter. I don’t know for the 1st gen Slims but you’ll need the cable if you have a phat. Tested it on a 720p TV. I’m going to test it on a 1080p desktop monitor, so I’m going to further update my review!

Producto entregado en prefectas condiciones,si alguien piensa utilizarlo con un adaptador HDMI a VGA, no lo recomiendo ya que no hay salida de video, pero con un cable HDMI normal, no hay problema

Llegó bien, en mi tv funciona OK pero lamentablemente encontré 2 problemas el primero es que el puerto de carga justo donde se conecta el cable para alimentar el adaptador choca con el cable de alimentación eléctrica de mi ps2, si estuviera del lado contrario estaría perfecto.
el segundo punto es que no funciona en mi monitor Samsung, yo lo compré para usarlo en el monitor pero me aparece el siguiente mensaje:
Not Optimum mode Recommended Mode 1920×1080 60Hz.
Es una pena que no me sirva el artículo.
El tiempo de entrega fue como 3 meses a Perú pero a pesar de eso llegó 3 semanas antes.

No esperaba que funcionara realmente , buen producto , en modo rgb no funca , es una tv de 43″ asi que la imagen se ve un poco estirada

The converter works, but you first have to connect ps2 with a regular av cable and set up video output in settings and then connect with converter and hdmi cable. Also the converter needs to be plugged in power source for it to work. The picture lloks pretty good.

It works fine, tested on 480i and 480p resolutions. Picture quality is alright for the price, significantly better than composite. The only downside is that 240p games don’t work.

Buenas tardes paso a comentarles que el producto llegó bien embalado unos días antes de la fecha aproximada a ni ciudad en Argentina. De momentos el adaptador funciona muy bien -ANTES DE USAR EL ADAPTADOR SE DEBE CAMBIAR LA SALIDA DE VIDEO A YPBPR DE LO CONTRARIO NO TENDRÁN IMAGEN-, lo probé con varios juegos usando la configuración del GSM en 1080i obteniendo buenos resultados. Cabe aclarar que no todos los juegos son conpatibles con ese tipo de resolución. Los juegos de PS1 también me funcionron usando Popstarter cabe aclarar que se debe usar el hdtvfix de los contrario no dará imagen.
