Windows 7 cannot recognize SSDs for the NVMe protocol, please note this! The motherboard BIOS installed on Windows 7 requires NVMe drivers to be installed in order to function properly, as there is no option for PCI-E hard disk startup in the BIOS boot entry of the machine, which is not a problem with the adapter card.

Доставлено было быстро, недели за две. Упаковка целая, комплект полный. При включении ПК зелёный светодиод светит очень ярко – пришлось его пальцем прикрыть что бы избежать засветки кадра. SSD М.2 NVMe с помощью этого адаптера был установлен на старую плату Asus M5A99X EVO rev. 1.01 с прошитым модифицированным bios. В bios SSD определился как загрузочное устройство под названием PATA – это нормально и является свойством модбиос. В среде Windows SSD так же виден в меню управления дисками. Вообще все работает, позже буду накатывать систему на не разделенную область и спасибо большое продавцу!

Shipping took about a month, which is considered fast, considering the country I live in. Adapter works as it should, but my kingston a2000 nvme drive doesn’t reach those max pcie gen 1×4 speeds (which are 2gb/s). Instead it reads/ writes at around 1.5gb/s. When I plug that drive directly to the motherboard, it runs at full speed, so it clearly is the adapter that limits it. Overall, it’s not a big deal, not sure about the adapter’s longevity though, but so far, so good. 👍
